IS GRACE ACCREDITED?

Grace is nationally accredited through both the National Council for Private School Accreditation and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation agencies. Accreditation is one way that Grace follows through on its commitment to be a school of excellence. Grace has achieved "exemplary accreditation" status through these agencies (which is the highest level attainable) by meeting or exceeding over 97% of the standards of excellence.

IS GRACE AFFORDABLE?

That depends on your definition of "affordable". The Board of Education works hard each year to be good stewards of the financial resources required to provide students with an exceptional education. Each student is eligible to receive a tuition scholarship. As a result, we are able to offer a quality education with some of the lowest tuition prices in our area.  Tuition assistance is also available to make an exceptional Christ-centered education accessible for every family.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE TAUGHT ABOUT GOD'S WORD?

We believe that the entire Bible is God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21). In the Bible, God reveals His plan of Salvation for all mankind. (John 3:16). The Word of God as found in the Bible is the basis for all of our teaching at Grace. In fact, every subject whether it is math, science, physical education, or music is taught from a distinctly Christian worldview. For additional information about what we believe and teach about God's Word please visit www.wels.net .

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are here to help.

Couldn't ask for a better school then Grace. Everyone is amazing & they do so much for every single student. So thankful my children have the opportunity to be a part of it all and words can't describe how wonderful it is to see them blossom with the Christian education they receive here. The best!!!

ARE PARENTS ABLE TO HELP OUT AT THE SCHOOL?

Grace thrives as a school of excellence thanks in large part to the partnership we have with the parents of our students. There are numerous opportunities throughout the year for parents to plan, promote, and participate in activities. Our Partners In Education (PIE) Group is instrumental in planning many of the fun community-building activities that we do throughout the school year.

Parents also assist by reading in the classroom, driving for field trips, organizing classroom parties, preparing hot lunch, operating a library, coaching athletic teams, etc.

While there is no requirement for participation, our school benefits tremendously from our active parental involvement.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY IS AVAILABLE AT GRACE?

Students at Grace are blessed to learn in a technology-rich environment that includes, iPads (1:1 in Kindergarten), Chromebooks (1:1 in 1st - 8th Grade), and SMART Interactive Displays in every classroom.

Teachers utilize technology to enhance the curriculum and help the students develop essential skills that will support their learning throughout their life. Teachers at Grace also understand there is a balance to the use of technology and plan lessons accordingly.

WHAT STANDARDIZED TESTING TOOL DOES GRACE USE?

At Grace, we focus on fostering a GROWTH mindset in our students - instilling in them the power of the word "YET". For example, the statement, "I can't factor polynomials!" turns into, I can't factor polynomials...yet." This little word turns an unattainable task into an achievable goal with practice and hard work.

In order to assist us in monitoring each child's progress throughout the course of the year, we use the MAP tests from NWEA. This is a computer adaptive test which zeros in on what each student knows and what they still need to learn. Teachers can then use this data to monitor student growth and inform instruction.
