You are Here
Alone. No one in the room with me. I am all by myself. I don’t see anyone or hear anyone. Alone is good when I want to let some emotions out. But then after they are out, alone is a bad place to be. Alone can be scary and well… lonely. David knew what it was to be alone. He felt alone in his sin. But God was always there with him. In Psalm 23, the first half, David describes his Good Shepherd as “he.” Then he transitions beautifully to “you” as he finishes the psalm.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death… you are with me. (Psalm 23:4)
God is with me. He has never left me. I am his child and he will always be with me. Where are you now fear and sorrow?
